目が覚めてよかった。体は回復している。明日は帰るだけなので今夜どれだけ出来るかが勝負になるなと思う。今回の旅は体調がそこまで悪くなっていないので満足。朝から前日の写真の編集とアップロード。パンケーキ、動物園、タワー、夜の街撮影、終わりと簡単な計画を立ててみる。
It's good to be awake. My body is recovering. I just have to go home tomorrow, so I guess it will be a matter of how much I can do tonight. I'm happy that my physical condition hasn't gotten that bad this trip. In the morning, I started editing and uploading photos from the previous day. Pancake, zoo, tower, night city shots, and try to make a simple plan for the end.

朝日を見に行く。雲が多かったが、太陽を見ることができた。朝日の上がる前が1番綺麗だった。陽が完全に出てくるまでは時間があったのでバルコニーからの眺めを楽しんだ後、砂浜へ移動できた。どんな場所でも朝から太陽を見に散歩している人はいる。観光客と地元の人が半分ずつだったように思う。人は自分が話したいことを話す。写真撮影を頼まれて快く引き受けたが、宗教の勧誘が始まった。最後の方は何を言ってるかわからなかった。
Going to see the sunrise. There were many clouds, but we could see the sun. It was the most beautiful before the sunrise. We had some time before the sun came up completely, so we could enjoy the view from the balcony and then move on to the Seashore. In any place, there are people taking a walk to see the sun in the morning. I think it was half tourists and half locals. People talk what they want to talk. I was asked to take a picture, which I gladly accepted, but then the religious solicitation started. I didn't understand what they were saying at the end.

Queensland No1へ向かう。色々と調べたところ、3日拳を購入。朝日と夕陽を見たいと考えたし、そこまで料金は変わらなかった。一回だけ登るにしては割高に感じる。オープン前から並んでいたが、時間ぴったりには始まらなかった。観光客が30人弱並んでいた。雲が多く出ていて、その間から刺す光と影がとても美しかった。これまで見たことのない景色で、海が砂漠のように見えた。あの感動は写真でも伝わらないと思う。白というか、モノクロのようにも見えた。このタワーは写真を撮るにはあまり向いていないようだった。反射や角度がイマイチ。景色を楽しみに来ている人よりも。食事を楽しみに来ている人の方が多かった。そして何よりも狭い。ピークの時期にはどれほどの人が来るのだろうか。列が出来て入れなくなるのか？京都タワーに登ってその小ささに驚いた時ほどではないが、ここが世界でも有数の観光地だとしたらこの狭さには驚きだ。せめてハノイのロッテタワーくらい広くても良いのではないか。
Heading to Queensland No1. After much research, we bought a 3-day fist. We wanted to see the sunrise and sunset and the price was not that different. Seemed pricey for a one-time climb. We were in line before it opened, but it didn't start exactly on time. There were less than 30 tourists in line. There were a lot of clouds, and the light and shadows piercing through them were very beautiful. It was a view I had never seen before, and the ocean looked like a desert. I don't think even a photograph can convey that impression. It looked more like white or black and white. This tower was not a good place to take pictures. The reflections and angles were not good. More people came to enjoy the view than those who came to enjoy the food. There were more people who came to enjoy the food. And most of all, it was too small. I wonder how many people will come during the peak season. Will there be lines and no way to get in? Not as small as when I climbed Kyoto Tower and was surprised at how small it was, but if this is one of the world's most famous tourist attractions, I was surprised at how small it is. At least it should be as wide as Lotte Tower in Hanoi.

Pancakes in Paradiseへ。食べてみたかったし、とても楽しみにしていた。そして、とても美味しかった。4枚でも意外と食べられた。というのも、どれくらいの大きさか転移人に尋ねたとき、意外と行けるよ、というようなことを言われたので。ドリンクオーダーの際に、ホットドリンクは機械の故障で全て提供できないという悲しい事実を告げられた。今回の旅ではフラットホワイトを飲めず。しかし、バターがしっとりと染み込んでいて、ホイップクリームもアイスも非常に美味しかった。控えめな甘さのアイスラテと合わせて満足で、また食べたくなる。テイクアウトをしようかとも思ったが、お店はお昼で終わってしまうそうだ。
ある場所に人が住んでいるのは何かしらの理由があるよな、ここで働いている人たちはなぜここにいるのだろうか。生まれなのか旅の途中なのか。そんなことを考えた。
Went to Pancakes in Paradise. I had wanted to try them and was really looking forward to them. I was surprised that I could eat even 4 pieces of it, because when I asked the transferee how big it was, he said it was surprisingly good. When ordering drinks, we were told the sad fact that all hot drinks could not be served due to machine failure. I was unable to drink a flat white on this trip. I thought about getting takeout, but the store is supposed to close at noon.
There must be some reason why people live in a certain place, I wonder why the people who work here are here. Are they born or on a journey? I thought about such things.

朝日の写真を思っていた以上に撮ったのでカメラのバッテリーがほとんどなくなってしまい急いで充電。10:50にトラムに乗り、700のバスでカランビンへ。乗り換えも何もかもスムーズすぎる。挨拶することの大切さをこの歳になって学んだ。コミュニケーションは意思。相手がどのような人なのかを確認する手段。防衛であり、楽しみであり。中南米系の女性がバスで爪研ぎを続けていて、その動きと音が気になった。誰とも話さずその場で調べて、いろんなところへ行ける安定性。先進国のありがたさというか余裕を感じる。
I took more sunrise photos than I expected, so my camera battery almost ran out and I had to quickly recharge it. 10:50 a.m. I took the streetcar and then the 700 bus to Currumbin. Transfers and everything is too smooth. At my age, I have learned the importance of greeting people. Communication is intention. A way to see what kind of person the other person is. It is a defense and a pleasure. A woman of Latin American descent kept sharpening her nails on the bus, and the movement and sound bothered me. The stability of being able to go to different places without talking to anyone and checking them out on the spot. I feel grateful for the developed world and the luxury of being in a developed country.

目的地の動物園前に到着するも、迷った末先にビーチを見に行く。ほとんど何も調べていなかったが、エレファントロックと空と景色があまりにも美しすぎて興奮した。信じられないような景色が右にも左にも、上にも広がり続けていて、どうしたら良いものかと思った。１キロほど歩いて戻ってゴールドコーストを堪能。露奥から見る景色はまた独特の美しさがあった。浅瀬と海の色、冬の空、太陽の暑さと風、人の少なさもこの上なし。全く計画にはなかったが、むしろこの場所が旅のハイライトのような感じがした。ここで撮ったフラッグの写真は人生で一番良い写真だろう。だから、大切な人にしか見せなかった。本当に、美しくて写真も本物と同じくらい美しかった。緑と青と白と、信じられない美しさが層をなしていた。
We arrived in front of our destination, the zoo, but after some hesitation, we went to see the beach first. I had done almost no research, but Elephant Rock, the sky, and the view were just too beautiful to get excited about. Incredible views kept spreading to the right, left, and up, and I wondered what to do... I walked back about a kilometer and enjoyed the Gold Coast. The view from the back of the dew was also uniquely beautiful. The shallow water and ocean colors, the winter sky, the heat of the sun and wind, and the lack of people. It wasn't planned at all, but this place felt more like the highlight of the trip. The photo of the flag I took here is probably the best photo of my life. So I only showed it to the people I cared about. Truly, it was beautiful and the pictures were as beautiful as the real thing. There were layers of green and blue and white and incredible beauty.

カランビン動物園。55ドルほど。印象としては、あまりにも料金が高い。それでも来る人はいるのかと驚く。観光客が多かったが、家族連れが多い。小さい子供がたくさんいた。コアラはたくさんいて餌の入れ替えが非常に面白かった。カンガルーは少なかった。もし家族連れで来て1日滞在し、ご飯も食べるといくらかかるのか、と考える。2、3年で物価も相当変わり、オーストラリアに気軽に旅行はできないなとも感じた。新しいところ、変化の早いところに身を置かないと古いものに時間を費やしてしまう。色とりどりの鳥ももう少しじっくりと見られたらよかった。人工的に作り出された霧は十分美しかった。
Currumbin Zoo. about $55. My impression is that the price is too high. I was surprised that people still come here. There were many tourists, but many families. There were many small children. There were a lot of koalas and the food change was very interesting. There were not many kangaroos. I wondered how much it would cost if I came here with my family, stayed for a day, and had a meal. I felt that if I didn't stay in a place that was new and changing quickly, I would spend too much time in the old. I wish I could have taken more time to see the colorful birds. The artificially created fog was beautiful enough.

定刻発のバスは来ない。10分遅れ、20分以上経ったところでやっとバスが来た。帰りは現地の子どもも乗ってきて大変だった。隣の韓国の方は安心してずっと寝ていたが治安が良いなと思った。バスは時間がかかるのでフィルム現象とメモ記録。火が沈んでしまう前に早く帰りたいのでとても焦っていた。
The bus did not depart on time; it was 10 minutes late and finally came after more than 20 minutes. On the way back, local children were also on the bus, and it was very difficult. The Korean people next to us were sleeping all the time without any worries, which made us feel safe and secure. The bus takes a long time, so film phenomenon and memo record. I was very impatient because I wanted to get back home as soon as possible before the fire sank.

すぐにトラムに乗り換えてホテルへ向かう。学生が床に座って話を続けていた。人が降りるたびに邪魔になってすみませんと律儀に謝っているのが面白かった。夕陽を見に2回目のタワーへ。夕陽自体はとても美しかったが綺麗に撮影することはできなかった。ビルの影と海の光の色合いは面白かった。世界各国からの観光客が来ていて、長い間旅行をしているという話を聞いていた。朝の景色の方が良かったと思う。夕日のタイミングですら、景色を見に来ている人は少ないようだった。いつかの日と同じようにウールワースでパイとポテチを購入しエネルギーをチャージ。両方切れた電池を充電してフィルムを取り込み現象完了。
I quickly changed to the streetcar and headed for the hotel. Students sat on the floor and continued talking. It was interesting to see how they were ritually apologizing for getting in the way every time someone got off the tram. We went to the tower for the second time to watch the sunset. The sunset itself was very beautiful, but I could not get a clean shot. The shadows of the buildings and the shades of the ocean light were interesting. I had heard that tourists from all over the world were here and had been traveling for a long time. I think the morning view was better. Even at sunset, few people seemed to come to see the view. As I had done sometime before, I bought a pie and some chips at Woolworth's to recharge my energy. I recharged both dead batteries and took in the film to complete the phenomenon.

出発して夜景を見に行く。こちらも特筆は無しという感じ。朝昼夜と全て登ってみたが、朝の方が海の色や街並みがはっきりと見えて面白かった。本当に小さな街なので壮大な夜景を楽しめるという感じではなかったし、またしても食事を楽しんでいる、その雰囲気を消費している人が多いように思えた。
We departed and went to see the night view. Nothing special to mention here either. We went up all morning, noon, and night, and it was more interesting to see the colors of the sea and the city clearly in the morning. It is a really small town, so it didn't feel like we could enjoy a spectacular night view, and again, there seemed to be a lot of people enjoying the food and consuming the atmosphere.

事前に場所を確認して、タワーからもみていたパブリックビューイング会場へ。立ち見でオーストラリア対イングランドのW杯準決勝を見た。結果負けてしまったがとても面白い経験になった。いろんな人種、言語の人等が一緒になって応援をしている。テレビはサッカー一色だった。それはサッカーでなくても良かったかもしれないし、いわゆるスポーツの力なのかもしれないが、皆盛り上がれるものがあって嬉しそうだった。酔っぱらいに絡まれて非常に大変だったが、小さい町に多くの人が集まって盛り上がるのは良いことだ。ゲームセンターやデザインを確認してから帰宅。今日も地元のスーパーに寄って行った気がする。
I checked the location in advance and went to the public viewing venue, which I also watched from the tower. I stood and watched the World Cup semi-final between Australia and England. It was a very interesting experience, even though we lost. People of various races and languages were cheering together. The TV was all about soccer. It may not have been soccer, or it may have been the power of sports, but everyone seemed to be happy to have something to get excited about. It was very difficult to get tangled up with drunks, but it was good to see so many people in a small town getting together and getting excited. After checking out the game center and design, we headed home. I think I stopped by the local supermarket again today.

帰宅。ポテチとミルク、パンナコッタを購入したべる。とても美味しかったが満腹だった。寝る前まで写真の編集をする。
Returned home. I bought potato chips, milk, and panna cotta. They were very tasty, but I was full. Edited photos until bedtime.

朝起きて写真の編集。7時には空港に向かわないといけないのでどう過ごそうかと考える。朝日が見えないな、今日は雲が多くて残念だと思っていたら雲の隙間から強烈な光が差し込んできた。とても幸運だった。前日より雲は少なくなり、日の出もはっきりと見られた。まさにGold Coastといった色合いで、トラムに駆け込み乗車する寸前まで浜辺で景色を見ていた。今回はホテルもオーシャンビューにしていてとても良かった。
全く問題なく空港へ向かい、また行きと同じように苦しい飛行機で帰国。
快適な旅だったし、知らない景色を見ることができてとても幸せだった。
I woke up in the morning, edited my photos, and thought about how I would spend my time since I had to leave for the airport at 7:00 a.m. The sunrise was not visible. I thought it was too bad that I couldn't see the sunrise, because there were too many clouds today, but then a strong light came through a gap in the clouds. I was very lucky. The clouds were less than the day before, and the sunrise was clearly visible. It was a true Gold Coast color, and I was watching the scenery on the beach until I was about to run to the streetcar to get on. I was very glad that I had chosen an ocean view hotel this time.
We headed to the airport with no problems at all and flew back home on the same painful flight as the one we had taken.
It was a comfortable trip and I was very happy to see the unknown scenery.
